THE BAME PROJECT
Believe - Achieve - Maintain - Exceed
Our aim is to integrate the diverse community of Bury, focusing on health and wellbeing, both mentally/physically.
ABOUT US

Welcome to The BAME Project.
We are an established, non-profit community group based in the heart of Bury, Greater Manchester, which was set up in 2019.
BAME stands for Believe in yourself, Achieve you goals, Maintain your resilience and Exceed your targets.
We have created this website so that new and existing service users can see what we are all about, and to also share our amazing journey with you all.
It's great to have you on board. We can't wait to continue our journey and share our success with you!

MISSION STATEMENT
The BAME Project aims to provide a variety of services, in hope to reduce isolation and to improve the health and wellbeing of our local community, both mentally and physically. We especially focus on those who may be considered vulnerable as well as those within the BAME community who may face challenges such as having a language barrier. It's our mission to break such barriers and be a platform of support as and when needed as well as to integrate our multi-cultural, diverse community, in order to empower each other and form lasting friendships.
Improve Health and Well-Being
We provide socially inclusive activities to improve health and well-being.
Women Empowerment
We provide a safe space for women to increase their confidence & self-esteem
Community Cohesion
We ensure that we work together to tackle social challenges for a positive future.
Breaking Barriers
We tackle barriers to improve understanding and in order for effective communication
